    Bolt together trailers

I found a double trailer but it was a bolt together Ezy Loader.
This trailer will need some work but for $200.00, it's hard to pass up.
My question is; have any of you guys ever welded all of the joints on these to keep the trailer rigid?

If its galvanized I would not suggest welding.

Ive had a bolt together double for ~5 years with no issues(not welded). multiple ski combinations with no flexing or tourque troubles.

Just curious, why not? Is it the "welding on galvanized fumes" issue?

uhhhh yup..and welding galvanized steel isn't easy to start with. get some _good top shelf_ hardware( not the bargain bin) and a gallon of red locktite and put it together.

BTW folks, zinc plated bolts are just as bad to weld.

Kirk, I had a bolt together double and it was crazy HD for the Older style skis like GPR, Sea Doo RX and Sea Doo GTX.

No way would I put a 4 stroke on one.

    Huuum.
I was just looking to put the RXPX and a GPR on it. I figured I could get a year out of it until a better trailer comes along.
