Nate, I am glad we had a chance to hang out and work on your boat. You are the perfect host and have a great family.
Nates pump shoe is perfect in the front, but hanging below the hull in the rear. Just a little time under the boat and patients to get it in there correctly. Practice makes perfect my friend !!!
Fixed his fuel gauge and we found a defective bearing in his pump that was lugging his motor down.
Even with the shoe out of whack and bad bearing I rode his boat 77.1 with about 3/4 tank fuel at 7140 with my prop (before the bearing got hot) Your motor is strong. A few more weeks and you will see some good speeds.
