    RXP Trim No-Workie

I've tried a search, but have not found an answer.

Last time we took the ski out the electric trim didn't work. The ski has low hours >35, it's a 2005 RXp, any ideas ?? We are heading out to Havasu in a couple of weeks & would like to have it fixed by then for our annual Dam-2-Dam ride (laughlin-parker, katherin's-hoover)

    Thanks in advance.

    On edit:
If I remember right, it shows the position of the trim, it just doesn't adjust it. I first noticed it on the first ride last year, so somehow "it broke" while being parked the previous winter. What a PITA, I thought I was being smart for pulling the battery to prevent it from going bad, now I may need to spend money to reprogram the dam VTS. Stupid.

If you have a display line of were your trim is then it is not the memory of the ski. Your issue is in the VTS itself. Is your 7.5 amp fuse good? Do you here any click sound when you activate the VTS?

I'm pretty sure there was the position line on the dash where the vts was & I don't remember any clicking noise.

I need to reinstall the batts & see what happens. Just trying to get an idea of what the problem might be.

If it turns out there is a "clicking" is that the VTS itself, like the motor ? Is that "easy" to replace, something I could poss do ? I am not mechanically illiterate.

    Fuse, Motor or BUDS ???

Fuse was blown, replaced, started ski still no workie. Line shows on gauge (dead center), no clicking, no noises, nothing.

Then the "sensor" started flashing on dash. Turned ski off, waited a few minutes, restarted, then I noticed the red light was flashing next to the "!".

    Where am I at ??

Should I be able to adjust the trim w/out starting the ski ? If it was working correctly ?
