What do you pay for PWC insurance?

I'll be insuring a 2008 FX HO, curious what others are paying a year for their ski?

I have Progressive and pay about $1400 a year for two skis. My policy has $50G coverage in case of accident. The premium may be steep but the good thing with Progressive is if something happens they wonít give you the run around like smaller carriers.

$487 with Progressive for my SHO & GPR-SHO. I do have to change my coverage on my conversion to replacement value, which will most likely bump up the rate.

Where are you at? If you have a big city address you are going to pay a lot more.

I live in Miami. I just spoke to my agent and he informed me that the comprehensive and collision (which includes theft) coverage is what drives my premium up by almost a grand. Since I keep my skis at a marina its prudent that I maintain the comp and collision.

    • I pay $237 for my 2009 Yamaha FZR
    • I live in Sacramento, CA
    • My insurance provider is Liberty Mutual and the PWC is an endorsement on my home owners policy

With Progressive as a stand alone policy the price would be $381 for me and it would have less coverage than my current arrangement.
