    weight limit?

I can't find any weight limit in the owners manual. My dumb question is there a weight limit for pulling a skier on a 2008 rxt 215? The stealer said to pay 450 and get the platform. But that adds alot of weight when not towing. The stealer also claims they drill to install.... thanks for your help....

Just make sure the skier is not heavier than the RXT That means "NO FAT CHICKS"

Thanks for the info, have you ever pulled a 250lb sker? My brother is a big guy and I don't want to rip the eye let out of the ski.

The eyelets are pretty strong... unless you have a nanosuck yamalog hull But... I would recommend the ski pole if you plan to tow a skier quite often. They don't weigh that much and retract when not in use... but yes... they do have to drill a hole in the upper deck to install it. Doesn't hurt anything though!

It depends if he starts with both skis or one. My guess is that a 250-pound guy is not popping up on a slalom ski, especially if you have a second person as an observer. IIRC, the platform only makes a "slightly" larger wake for wake boards, and doesn't help getting a skier up. If you are going to ski alot, you might need a lower-pitched impeller... Ron
