09 Seacrets PWC Run
I'm trying to round up heads so we can get some dates set.
Going to hit Seacrets OCMD (www.seacrets.com)
Skis will be coming from Del, MD, VA, NJ, NY, PA, CT, etc.
3-4 day weekend
My group will be leaving from Barnegat and will be meeting whoever in Cape May to cross the Delaware. The DelMarVa skis and whoever else will meet us North of the Assawoman.
I'm hoping to leave at crack of morning on a Thursday or Friday and return Sunday morning.
Last year we got lucky and stayed in hotel right next to Seacrets with a balcony over looking
over our skis. We may not be as lucky this year.
Worse case you can beach, cove anchor, or rent transient slip.
If your interested throw out which dates and where you'll be riding from.

I am so down, this is amazing! Only people who live to ride should go on this trip. It's a bad ass run and we are going to rip it up the whole way there! Can't wait to start talking dates.

I'll do what I can to meet up with you guys again this year. I'm also going to see if I can get a buddy or two to come along as well.
Looks like I may need to take a Friday off.
Re the ride, if you want, you can trailer down to Cape May and meet up there. After you cross the Delaware, we can meet up in Lewes. Tom F??? You can get gas in Lewes and either cruise down the canal or stay out in the ocean (depending on how much of a hurry you are in, the canal cruise is pretty cool - although there are some pretty large no-wake areas). The canal dumps you out behind Dewey Beach and you cruise through the Rehoboth Bay and into Indian River. There's gas available at Indian River. Last year, we cruised the ocean from Indian River down to the OC Inlet and then went back up to Seacrets.
Mmm. Jerk chicken

Depending on weekend, I may be able to provide a support boat from Cape May over to DE. Won't make it through Assawoman, but can run w/everyone across the bay, and if anyone feels festive, can support from Cape May all the way down to OC inlet via ocean....

hell yeah i am in. jerk chicken and the women are worth the ride from anywhere, especially if pettee is willing to offer up his boat for a support craft across the bay. its not that long of a ride across. and then there are plenty of fuel stops along the way. lets do this!!!!!!

Depending on the date. (it will have to be late August at this point my book is filling up fast) I can offer some local logistical support. My docks and beach are 1/4 mile from Seacrets. BTW Brian "the project" is coming together quite nicely.

Right now I have 4 skis ready whenever given 2 weeks notice and another 4 interested but cannot commit to the ride for various reasons.
There's also a ski from MD and another from DE willing to meet on their end.
More skis may hop into this once we get dates.
The Coast Guard will have a float plan and my buddy with the Sea Plane may do the ride with us from the air.
I think some like the RXP, GPR, etc guys will want to take the inside and then hit the ocean when we're there. It does'nt matter to me either way.
Some guys may also drive down to party at Seacrets.
