How do I keep my ski from being stolen

I'm keeping my new ski on a lift behind my friends house. Since it's on the water and very accessible how do I keep it from being stolen. No key on a GP1300R.

Also I need to buy a couple life jackets and where is the cheapest place to buy oil and do I need to stick with Yamalube?

    Thanks

You can get a battery killswitch for the ski and install it in a hidden spot. Oil you can get from www.amsoil.com. Get a customer account and you will be able to purchase the oil at cost. Amsoil Interceptor 2 stroke is what you want. Life vest you can get from a boat store or online. As long as there coast guard approved your good to go.

if someone wants it that bad, the battery switch won`t do jack.

find a way to cable lock it to the lift. maybe thru the rear tie downs. one that will be more of a hassle to cut then what it`s worth...

All of the dealerships near me are terrible... I needed a new pfd for my gf and called the local Yamaha dealer and all they had were Sea-Doo pfd's. They don't even stock simple things like head gaskets and you're lucky if they even have spark plugs in stock.

I order pretty much everything online now. The great thing about the dennis kirk site is it tells you how many they have in stock and if you're lucky enough to find somthing in the closeout section thats your size it's usually a steal! I ordered my Slippery Switch pfd and gloves from them last year and have no complaints.
