    What's wrong w/these pictures?

I couldn't believe what I found while pulling the 97 44s to install the 99 44s. Can ya see the problem in the 1st two pics? I laughed out loud when I realized the problem. I was pulling a pulse hose when I found the issue (thats a hint).

Are those your primer hoses that aren't attached?

The primer hoses are not attached in the pics. I pulled those loose 1st. I didn't realize the problem pulling the primers loose. The reed cages and spacers sealing wasn't the problem. It was a pulse issue (another hint). I still can't believe I was trying to tune around "this problem", and got it running as well as I did!!! To be honest, I don't know how I didn't burn a cylinder up while trying to work around the problem found today. I'm baffled about what I found. Really!

Perhaps these pics will tell the tale....
The funny thing is, I pulled these carbs a couple of dozen times last season and didn't notice the problem!
