155hp Sportster/Speedster 150 Plastic pumps
I wonder if im alone on this or if more people are having the same problems as i am.
My boat was eating wear ring's due to the pump warping. If anyone is dealing with this kind of issue check the pump isnt warped and if so should upgrade to a metal pump. I put an Aluminum pump off a 2008 speedster 150 (155hp) on my 2004 sportster 150 (155hp). The warped plastic pump also allowed the drive shaft to move front to back 1/2 inch.

It sounds like you have the same problem that I had with my 2003 GTX-SC. The warranty covered replacing the plastic pump with an aluminum pump. If your warranty is still in effect, contact PPG (seadoo.net) and they should be able to help you... Ron

Replace it with the alminum pump housing, its not much more $$ wise and a much better set up.

-rubber/plastic cap on driveshaft
-Pump,shaft & bearing
-pump cone(last dealer messed it up )
I was told the 2008 impeller is diffrent guessin the pitch, any truth to this and would i get better performance.
