New to me ski, have piston top question (BLOWN UP)
Well I bit the bullet ditched the boat and got a ski, so far not to happy, lol. But not all that mad either.Heres my problem ski was runnin like crap this morning and what not so brought it home.Im leaning towards the biggest prob as crap battery,it load tested at 3 volts, woo hoo!!!Now just to check things over i figured I would pull the plugs and see how the burn is on them. All ok but the center one is bent and looks like itd been smacking the piston top. There is marking on the piston as well, its at top right now.Im a diesel loco mech and we run 2 stroke diesels and they run hard with some realy beat up stuff, now im curious is do i have a loose or worn rist pin, or did someone just forget the washer before?Any ideas Id be happy to listen.
Ski is a 2000 Yamaha GP1200R

Hate this carp, always seems to happen.Im talking to the guy I bought it from now to see if will work with me or else to small claims court we go.Ooter to cylinders and piston crowns look ok, center is desintigrated and walls damged badly. On with the pics.
So where do i go from here?Dont have a lot a money to spend now?Rebuild, replace?

pretty bad damage, but cant really see those pics
possible crank failure, but need better pics of the piston
also are the oil lines still connected to the carbs?
check and see if a magnet sticks to the top of the piston

All the lines are connected.Gonna get jugs pulled tonight after i get off work i hope.Checked with a magnet and it pulls slighty on the middle and rear piston, more so on the center where the chunks are built up on whats left of the crown. The center right now is sitting just below the powervalve port where the melting radiates out.
