    99 GTX prob

I posted this on the 2 stroke forum but no hits so thought I would try here....

My buddy has a 99 GTX. It cranks but won't start in the water but it does start on the trailer (out of water). Battery is fully charged and it has brand new plugs. All conections are tight.

    Thanks for any help here!

What's the compression of both cylinders? Does it start on a hose on the trailer?... Ron

The reason that I asked about running on the hose is that the ski may have a cooling water leak in one cylinder while it's in the water... Ron
