    Glove Box Lid?

Hi Guys. I'm trying to remove the cover from the little glove box (is that it's proper name?) on my XL1200Ltd (the one just under the handlebars). There is a plastic clip thingy with 2 springs that holds it on and acts as a hinge. I can see it probably compresses to let the cover off, but I'm prodding and poking it all ways and can't get it to reveal its' secret! Anybody help on this one, as I'm getting to the stage of pulling hard and breaking the plastic hinge thingy, then I'll be really p###sed off! It's hitting 30 degrees here, and it's humid as hell, and us Brits don't do hot and humid. Thank's. DaveW.

OK Guys. I've just sorted it! The plastic clip thingy splits in 2 and then the hinges and springs come out seperately. Cheers. DaveW
