    newby polaris owner 1995 sl750

I used to ride jet skis and wave runners in the ski show at Marine World California and at Sea World in Florida and I had a blast with them, I recently just bought a used polaris SL750 that is in great shape, runs fast and came with some upgraded parts,
What maintenence should I do on a regular basis? any thing is shoul watch out for? I want to get the most out of it on the remainder of its life,

    thanks,

    Welcome to the Hulk.

    How about some pics?

    What goodies were added?

Just make sure the fuel system is well maintained, and the through hull bearing stays well greased.

I just got an sl650 myself, so I feel the newb pain.

the links in k447s sig are excellent sources of info. I learned more there than I did from hours of googling.

the guys here at the hulk are amazing, so if you run into anything specific post you will get well informed answers for sure.

    these were the parts added
Oil pump removed; runs on 40:1 pre-mix
    Triple outlet fuel pump upgrade
    Aftermarket intake grate and rideplate
Toxic reeds and reed cage spacers
Ocean Pro Vortex flame arrestors and covers
TDR waterbox (it's not real loud, sounds good)
UMI handlebars, Renthal grips and finger throttle
Ocean Pro aftermarket head included (not installed)

how much inprovement would I get if I install the Ocean Pro head?

    thanks,

    Some nice, but common upgrades.

The OP head will add a bit more low to midrange punch to it.

Make sure to run 92 octane fuel if you install the OP head.

How about a pic of the engine compartment?

Looks like it has a Skat Trak sticker on it, so most likely have an aftermarket impeller as well.

How often should I grease the through hull fitting?

We took it out yesterday for the second time all seemed well, until my daughter rolled it and it took her a while to get it back up right, after that it kind of ran crappy at low end, sluggish on take off, but once it got up to speed it was fine,
I noticed when I flushed it out last night as it idled on the trailer the through hull fitting was shaking quite a bit,
    any ideas???
    thanks,
