05 RXP Turbo Coolant Overflow Question

I finally put back my RXP Turbo after changing a blown head gasket and decking the head. I bled the coolant system and started the engine. After 5-10 minutes iddling the coolant bottle started to get empty( not from the cap/overflow hose). I turn it off and put some coolant in it with a 1.4 bar cap, and went down just a little.I need to test in the water.
Do you guys think iddling too much without water to the ride plate might do that? Or maybe the cap was bad? No boost went in the engine so I doubt that it was from the head.
    Thanks
    Hector

Keep a eye on the coolant level for a while. It seems easy to get an air bubble in the system. What head bolts or studs are you using?

Should be good to go then. Warm it up on the water with the seat off and keep an eye on the coolant level. I think you just had a air lock.

I would be changing the ARP studs for standard head bolts.

Those ARP head bolts are CRAP!!

Have seen several head gasket failures due to these. They back off and the head starts moving around.

I would be checking them every 5 hours or somethingif your leaving them on
