bending stock p-x prop for 8000rpm

my stock p-x was turning about 8040-8080,added a worx grate and now shes running up to 8160-8180 WOT.
im adding the 4" intake from the store shortly and replacing wear ring etc......so i know il be all over the limite so i may as well bend the prop when im at the wear ring.
so how much will the intake gain me in rpm?100rpm?
and if 100rpm is gained ideally i want to lose about 260rpm?as the x,s sweet spot is 8000rpm dead right?
so how many mm roughly equates to 100rpm?
i ride in sea and usually temp isnt very warm hence my high rpm.

    ps thanks in advance

1mm= 100 RPM if you do it your self. Or send it to Erik at Speedfreeks and be done w/ it. Just tell him exactly what mods you have and where your RPMs are and have no worries. He will take care of your prop and it will be perfect and look perfect w/ no kinks. Nice smooth transition on the blades. Seriously,, the guy is good!!!

1mm roughly equals 100rpm. If your gonna try and get 3mm outa your prop you'll be pushing the max. Try it...learn to do it. See how it works. Afterward if you wanna send it off, do so....or just get a taller prop.

so roughly how much rpm will i increse running the 4" intake?
bearing in mind im at 8160 with just a worx grate.

and how much mm would you take out the prop?say 2.5 mm?
so i start at say 2" from trailing edge and work my way down taking 2.5mm in total out the 4 blades?
not taking a whole 2.5mm at once incase i kink blade but slowly work up to 2.5mm.
    is this right?

The word is, a 4" kana up front intake is worth....100rpm or so. I....had to go to rear air to see significant improvement. You probably won't see that much though if you're already on the limiter.

If you want to "lower" your r's you add pitch.....ie make it steeper. The write up in the faq's says 1" from the end....so if you wanna start at 2"...why not? I wouldn't try to get all it all at once. You can do 1-1.5mm easy enough on one pass....but I've only done it from the 1" mark.

I can't remember what the write up says.....so....before I start bending I take my gage...ruler...and mark the start point on the ruler...checking all four blades...evening out any discrepency before I start to add or subtract.

I gained over 200-240rpms. I did three things at one time tho. Front air 4" DIY, pulled flame arrestor from intake, 160* thermostat. Added: Shoot for 8100rpm not 8000rpm.
