i can order a kit for you, and have it in a few days. pistons, rings, pins bearings, and complete top end gasket set.

send me an email, let me know what size you need, if i can help. thanks. ( please remind me exactly what machine, and engine this is for)

you "probably" have std bore now. you should never assume though. clean the tops of the pistons, and see if there is any numbers on them. an over sized piston will have the size stamped on the top dome. ( ie, .010, .020, or .5mm, 1.0mm etc)

then you need to determine how much you need to bore, to clean your cyls up. typcially .5mm is enough. you then order pistons, accordingly, and then take your cyls with new pistons to the machine shop to have them bored and matched to your new pistons. make sure to champer the ports also, as sometimes the machine shops do not do this.

i would suggest getting a shop manual, and reading up on the engine rebuild, or i am sure it has been covered here, keith probably has a link to a good engine rebuild tech article.

If you need stock bore size i have two brand new WSM platinum pistons. I can put together a topend kit with all the gaskets if that's what you're looking for. Let me know.

Ok, the cyl isnt scarred or anything so I will need 81mm standard. would it be wise to rebuild both or just one? the other one is reading 120psi.. ( I know thats good, but is it recommended)? my buddy who is gonna help me with this stated we might need a cyl head as well...

Some guys do it differently, but i myself would do both sides. Although it's good now, once it does start "wearing out" so to speak, you'll have one good side and one bad. Kinda like putting a brand new tire on one side of the front of your car or rear of your truck and the other side has 40,000 miles on it. Doesn't make much sense. The cost isn't much more and they'll both be new and wear the same. Just my .02.
