Washers Went Today On My Boat

I am so pissed right now, words can't Describe it.

The thing only has 8 Hours on it too.

Was goin at WOT, Slowed Down for a Second, Hit the Throttle, heard a Pop, then a really Loud Whine and I knew exactly what happened. Wouldn't Rev over 5500rpm.

Boat it at the Marina now, and they are Checking with SeaDoo to see if it's still under Warranty.

So since this happened, that whole Motor has to come apart now right?

Yes the motor has to come out and apart.. when the washers go they explode into the oil pickup i belive.. DO NOT let them just try and fix the charger..

I havent had a lick of problems with my boat yet.. i have 17hrs on the hour meter (which is more like 40hrs LOL)

Yea, the Marina told me only the SC Rebuild is covered under Warranty. The Motor Teardown & Rebuild isn't, and I'd have to Pay outta Pocket for it.

    Not broke anymore.

Thank God it wasn't the Washers.

Boat is out of Warranty, so I just Picked it up from the Marina, came home and Tore into it myself.

Popped off my Intake and SC Wheel is nice and Tight, 0 Play at all. So now I'm thinking WTF is wrong then?

So I start undoing the Clamps holding the Charge Tube from the SC to TB. I take it off, and low & behold there is a Hole about the Size of a Golf Ball on the Bottom of it.

So that's all that was wrong. Just basically a massive Air Leak.

    So it's all good now.

Oh yea, it's not going back in the Water until they are done.

I'm taking what happened as a "Sign" to get them done.

Yea well, it's ALOT less common for it to happen on the Boats since they don't come Unhooked anywhere near as much as a 'Ski does. so that's what I was goin with. Plus it has only 8 Hours on it too, so I figure I could get SOME use out of it before Changing them.
