Putting the dog on the beach will get you and easy 100rpm's.
The heat really seems to be killing you.
Do you have a filter on that intake?

with the X-Charger and 42's you should be powering a 15/20 at those rpms in the heat 7700 rpms with a 14/19 prop? And your in Nebraska, I don't think it's that hot there if I'm not mistaken

I have a filter on the 4" intake and I actually am running a 15/20 prop off of my 08 rxp just forgot to change the signature...temps here are only around 88-91...to make things worse I took it out today and could only get up to around 64-65 mph....really scratching my head now...with all the mods I thought I would be running pretty good...Thanks for the input and hopefully you all can help me figure out where my power is...

Wear ring, boost leaks would be a good place to start!

How would you go about checking for the boost leaks??..Is it just all the hoses connected to the charger or is there another way to check it...thanks again

You might try another impeller.
If you have no boostleaks ,try pitching the impeller.
+1 mm gives 100 rpm back ,try + 2mm.
Looks like a rxp-x setup, the solas 15/22r might work.
But only try pitching after you are sure everything is installed the right way.
In a hot climat you still should be running +- 8000 rpm.
Don't know the temperatures around your hometown.

temps here only running around 88 now...do not have a blowoff valve so that is one less thing that can leak i guess...gonna try and find a way to see if there is boost leak...what is the fastest and easyest way to test?? Will a boost gauge from local part store work/?
