    thru hull fitting on sl750

How often should I grease the through hull fitting?

We took it out yesterday for the second time all seemed well, until my daughter rolled it and it took her a while to get it back up right, after that it kind of ran crappy at low end, sluggish on take off, but once it got up to speed it was fine,
I noticed when I flushed it out last night as it idled on the trailer the through hull fitting was shaking quite a bit,
    any ideas???
    thanks,

I answered this question in your other thread. I thought I had deja vu there for a second.

    checking thru hull

I am going to check the thru hull now, is it kind of like a inboard cutlass bearing/packing gland?

It kind of looked like one of the spark plug wires was loose but I didn't notice that until starting on the trailer last night when i was flushing it,

How long can i run it on the trailer with the hose hooked up?
does the impeller and shaft have to be in the water?

    thanks,

tHE BEARING IN THE PUMP FOR THE IMPELLAR HEAT UP WHEN OUT OF THE WATER. THE WATER COOLS DOWN THE PUMP/BEARINGS.

A QUICK FLUSH IS DONE WHEN USED IN SALT WATER. FLUSH NOT REALLY NECESARY IN FRESH WATER. JUST A QUICK START UP TO GET AS MUCH MOISTURE OUT OF THE SYSTEM.

THAT ROUGH IDLE WAS PROBABLY THE LOOSE SPARK PLUG WIRE. MAKE SURE THE SPARK P,UG BOOT IS SPARKLING CLEAN INSIDE AND ALSO THE TIP OF THE SPARK PLUG TO ENSURE GREAT SPARK. CLEAN OUT WITH ELECTRICAL SPRAY CAN CLEANER AND A PICK OF SOME SORT TO GET ANY CRUD OUT.

You can run it up to 2 minutes on the hose. If you pull the pump you can run it as long as you want.
