    Need help with build -- Last Check!

    I've talked with a few big guys here on the forum and I think I've decided on a build, just wandering if you guys can look it over!

    I'm going on Vacation in August, so I have this month to get it up and running.

    I've decided on:

    • Milling my Stock S/C with DIGGS and adding 2rude Wheel + OEM Rebuild
    • RRFPR with 42# injectors
    • JFizzle XS w/ resonator removal for exhaust
    • 4" Kanaflex
    • 15/20R (was recommended for Rude1, will it work for 2rude?)
    What do you think about this setup? Any estimates on speed?

    For the install, what tools, clamps, wear items etc. will I need? How long do you think an install like this would take?

    I don't have time or money to get an AFR setup, will something like this be pretty straightforward? or does it typically require a lot of tuning?

    I think you will need 50's with that 2Rude wheel. Get a 15/20, but it will need to be pitched for best performance. Add a new wear ring when prop is done. Replace OEM SCer washers with RIVA SCer washers even if they are the new OEM metal washers. We have guys running this set up in the 77-79mph range with stock ecu in the heat.

    So 50# injectors?

    I don't plan to have AFR right away becuase of time and money restrictions, should this setup be alright to setup and go?

    How important are we talking for the AFR? Like I said.. I plan to order this WHOLE setup within the next few days, and I need this done before August 1st.

    Because of money and time limitations, I wouldn't have time to get a AFR setup.

    If it is really important, I could instead go for something a little lower.. and work my way up:

    • 4" Kana
    • Riva Grate
    • Have Jerry add Riva Washers + Gen II Wheel
    • 42# Injectors
    • RE Blockoffs
    • Riva Waterbox
    • XS I/C
    • Prop ( What prop would you use )
    What do you guys think? I need to figure this out quick

    For this second setup ( Riva Gen II Wheel - External I/C - 4" Intake ) would you need 42# injectors or not?

    What prop would you use?

    Help me out guys, I'm ordering things as we speak

    Yes, 42s are necessary. A 15/20R 4 blade would work well.

    While your around, is there any special trick to removing the resonator? I got everything else out but it's getting hung up on the VTS.. any tips?

    remove throttle body or vts (throttle body easier)

    The four options used by most here on the site are:

    1. Pull the VTS off
    2. Pull the Throttle Body off
    3. Cut the resonator with a saws-all
    4. Get lucky at twisting and turning until it magically comes out.

    I prefer the TB removal technique.
