    Cool gp 800 compresion

my sons 800 has 95 lbs in one cylinder the other is 120lbs I know they should both be 120 - 125 or so, but it seems to run fine. should I do the top end, or can he ride it like it is?

It should be ok to ride for now, just keep your eye on it. Drop a tablespoon of 2 cycle oil in the spark plug hole in the low cylinder and check compression again. If the compression rises, then you'll have some idea that your cylinder, piston, and or rings may have some damage.

The sooner you fix it,the less cylinder damage they'll be.Just my opinion.I'd at least pull the head and see what's going on.
