if its black or silver its 2000 and up, if it doesn't have the large breather holes either side of the hood hinge its a 2000 and up, if its yellow its a 97/98/99

I am pretty sure the 2000 XPL had the big breather tubes in the front and '01 was the year they moved.
96XPSS has one so he can answer the question.
The boat in the pics you posted is a '99 based on the hull, seat, and hood color.
Look at the HIN number (it is on a plastic tag rivetied onto the boarding platform at the back or on the sticker on the transome if it is still there). The HIN starts ZZN and the last two digits are the model year (99, 00, 01 ect).

In 2000 they eliminated the front holes Krunch...unless they did it with your year.
And your VIN # on the back deck...the first two numbers are the model year.

'99 XPL had the big holes in the front.
On the HIN it is definitely the LAST two numbers. The HIN on the GTX is ZZN63----02.
Same on the XPL (ends 99) and the RX (ends 00).
