    4tec motors? 06 same as 07??

Guys I know the electronics changed some on 07 and 08, but what about the motors? I can't remember, but I believe the motors are interchangable? Plug and play with each other?

    Thanks

Dan are anyone. What was the big difference in the ecu's from the 06 to 07? i mean if the motors are interchangable then why not the ecu's?

If I plug in a 07 motor in a 06 hull with 06 ecu how is this ok, from a 07?

Just a little confused as to why the 06 and 07 engines can be swapped, but not ECU's?

I ask, because I am gonna put one of the motors I bought in a 06 RXP and it is a whole 07 motor. I am gonna use the 06ecu thow.

I believe that the 07 does not have the MPG box and the 06 does have it so you can not use the 07 ECU with an 06 ECU.

Gotcha, so the 07 ECU has more of the electrical stuff actually in it and the 06 has two seperate boxes MPEM and ECU, but the actual motors are the same?

Yes, the motor should be the same... but the wire harness is different.
