Help a Girl out? Speedo problem?

    Hi folks,

Love my 2008 FX HP Cruiser - never a problem with it...til now.

Went out yesterday, a bit choppy but have been out in much worse (and loving it) but my speedo stopped working. Shows zero on the digitial display, switched to the analog display... dead needle. My main issue is it is on a lift at our lake (100 miles from home - trailer at home) so not so easy to run it over to the dealer.

Anything I can try myself? I very much appreciate some ideas.

If you are on Lake Geneva you will need it too. One of those lakes that nobody rides on because of the speed limit.

Give it a bit one of the guys will chime in. If you have a speed sensor in the back, make sure the wheel spins freely. I dont know if your model has one though.

Theres a little plastic pin wheel looking thing on the back of the ski around the pump. Its mounted into the ride plate. Make sure its spinning freely...

Under the ski on the L hand side there is a paddle wheel that picks up the speed. It probably has a rock or something caught in there.

If it isn't something obvious we need somebody to get some measurements using a meter to determine if it is the actual part itself which is about $100.00
