a great help to me, is the factory manual. Ask around, there are some soft copies listed.
-MATCH THE STUFFERS to the openings.
-YOU MUST USE GASKETS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ADAPTOR PLATE.
-YOU WILL NEED TO CUT THE ONES ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE CAGES.
On your 13r if you take off this part, then you can pull the old reed cages out and put the new ones in.

By the way, Yamaha has MASSIVE boost ports built into this manifold.

massive boost ports?
so once i get that part out pictured above i pull the stock cages out, then match the new to the stuffers, then do i cut wht needs to be cut to make the cages fit? or do i cut the gasket?then once i have everything matching and no air leaks i assemble it all back together

-Yes, once you have them in place, assemble it back together.

Talk to Carl at Island or Fernando at Speedpro. I thought I read on here that Kerry had something going too.
Take the best price.
