    1999 pro 785 help asap!!!

here is my first post on GREENHULK....

Ive got a 1999 pro 785, I had the crank rebuilt & jugs sleeved for 20 over pistons.

I bought the craft with the motor blown & Ive never ridden it. I'm literally a few hours away from hearing this thing run then take it out to the lake.

Here is my dilemma I'm ready to drop my motor back in but i don't quite know how to route all of the wires & such. I don't want to pinch, sever or melt anything during & after install.

COULD SOMEONE Post a Pic of the electrical box with the wires ran in the proper location along with pix of the left and right sides of the motor preferably with the carbs and exhaust off.

Thank you for any & all Help!!!

Did you do anything with the exhaust valves? Just wanna make sure you don't have any clearance problems with the new bore size.

Did you get this figured out?

There are photos in some of the project threads showing Pro 785 engines in various states of undress and installation.

the only thing i did with the exhaust valves was clean them up by taking off the carbon/tar build up off them.

wire routing problem solved but more headaches soon followed!

i had it to the point where the starter was turning the motor over but no spark. while trying to check for spark, something, I'm assuming is the starter gear/clutch froze. the starter clicks but the crank doesn't turn & still have no spark... :/ I think i forgot the starter bushing during install.

GURRRRRRRR I just want to ride this thing and feel my arms tear off!

If the crank doesn't turn, you won't have spark.....the crank spinning tells it when to fire.

You're hearing a clicking noise while pushing the start button, but no starter or engine cranking correct?

the bendix very well could be jammed etc...or it may just be a weak battery.
