    can't hit limiter?

    hey guys i just put a new redution ring into my seadoo down from 83 to 81 and i just put a 2 rude in as well took it for a test drive and can't hit the limiter revs out at 7400 this seadoo has a rr ecu i put it back on the trailer i can hit the limiter any ideas

    Sounds like you need to go back to the 83 nozzle and get a different prop. Unless this is a 04-05 ski that still has the knock sensor. When did you install the ecu? Have you ever gotten any better rpms with this ecu?

    What prop are you running?
    Also, have you checked the slip on the charger and looked for boost leaks?
