    Hi guys,

My Friend just bought a new RXT-X 08

only 16 hours now , i change the oil + filter + Spark plugs

( Oil level is OK )

The ski only Hit 7700 RPM 69 MPH (GPS)

    water temp 90 F + Air Temp 110 F + high humidity

i think its low RPM & Speed for the X-boat

I'd double check the oil level, making sure you let the ski idle for 30 seconds and that the engine is level.

If it's still correct than its more than likely the conditions your riding in that is robbing your RPM's.

Sounds like a boost leak, make sure all your clamps and hoses are in good shape..

My stock X turns 8080 to 8120 at sea level in 72 water, 78 air and is avg 70.3-.5 mph gps. The fastest I've had it going was 71-2 mph and change.

As for actually help solve your problem I'm much less help than others here, good luck though.

In the heat of the summer my ski would turn 7700 RPM's, winter time turns a constant 8050-8100.

4tecs don't like the heat/humidity, especially when its that extreme.

First make sure your oil levels OKAY -- check for any boost leaks -- pump area for anything hanging down..

If nothing, there's a VERY good chance your 110* air temp and humidity is bringing you down 400 or so RPM's

if those temps are normal then you will need to take some pitch out of the prop to get the R`s up to 8000 but I would install a open air intake first
