    Gpr bouncing in flat water?

Hey guys, I havent had my ski in the water for a year and a 1/2 due to a blown motor. I finally got it out, and it was pretty calm water this weekend, but the gpr, wanted to keep jumping out of the water for some reason. I had my gf on the back, and a smaller cooler tied to the grab handle. I was thinkking that that was the reason with the weight in the back, that the front wanted to get out. The ski is completely stock. Does that make sense with the weight on the ski??

step the sponsons, it will smooth it out nicely, adding a dual bar 1200 intake grate is also a must do mod.

those two alone will be a big difference in handling and the bounce will majorly reduce.

just use the advanced search button to search the yami section for info on stepping sponsons.

i just checked mine and it looks like the screws are all onthe bottom position. Mine also only have 2 holes instead of one big hole where the screws go, so I cant put a screw in the middle, like you have a screw in the middle hole. I know that sounds confusing, but hopefully you get it.

that`s why you need to do a search and see how to cut between the 2 holes in the center bolt position so you can do this mod...

I used a very sharp razor knife and carefully kit the bridge (center piece) out...

OH thats why you were telling me to search, I apologize I usually search for my answers, but I was using the wrong words to search. THank you though, I am going to take them off today and do the mod.
