    NEwbie Compression Question

    Anyone now what a reasonable compression should be for a 97 Waveventure 760?

    BTW...engine cold....completely charged battery and throttle held wide open with one plug in and the tester in the other. Don't forget to remove spark plug leads...no running while doing the test.

    You might see lower numbers depending on wear...150-ish would be optimal but you might see it lower - but you should have pretty even compression between front and rear. Very important to have throttle held wide open while checking!
