    What are the differences between the 215scic and 155na motors??

    I have an RXP 215SCIC with a trashed motor. I also have a GTX 155hp norm asp 4-tec motor.
    SO.. QUESTION:what needs to be changed to make the 155 LONG BLOCK work?
    I was told that the flywheel/triggerwheel and the cam sprocket are different but I need to know for sure.

    It would also help to know the years of each ski, because the electronics changed along the way... Ron

    Might be cheaper in the long-run to re-build the SCIC motor.

    Look at the fact you will have to open it up, gaskets, then the stronger/correct bits.

    The SCIC motor is a lot stronger item, not just a look-alike.

    Oil pumps, head gaskets, compression, bearings need to be looked at carefully....

    Financially I would re-build or get a replacement short block, and then work on it.

    block and head are destroyed so rebuild is no option

    the scic RXP is an 04' the 155na GTX is an 02

    is this speculation from you guys or do you know this as FACT. seems like i am getting alot of guessing so far

    When in doubt, get an SBT long block, put it in the ski and sell immediately... Ron
