    Lets talk about the (buck)

I have never experienced a buck on my ski, dont really know what to expect if it ever happens.
is it vilent enough to pitch you off if you just sitting on seat?
Is it more likely with 1200 or 800 grate?
Does it cause the ski to dart left or right if your using new SS grate?
Im hoping some of you who have experienced it will chime in.

    kerry hibdon 1450
    buck shot 50mm carbs
    v-force reeds
    06 complete pump
    solas 14-23.5 (impros)
    R&D 1200 Grate(hangs down below shoe) aweful
    jims FF plate
    R&D pump tunnel reinforcement
    best GPS speed 78.4
I am redoing my transom plate,it was hanging way down on the left side so i couldnt get the proper angle on plate,, also installing the new SS grate,,while inspecting i found all kind of things wrong,i had the edges of plate below shoe,,in the past i just did not pay attention to detail,,think this is why my speed is off 2-3 mph.now that i have found all of these things wrong, once there corrected im worried about the buck.

Depends on how fast you come up on it and what speeds your running.

Has your tunnel been reinforced, shoe been reset, etc..

Most likely if your running under 77 its not a major threat.

Been tossed at 84 and 98, both sucked really bad.

Ditto.. I almost came off last year @ 70 when my grate broke and decided to defy the laws of gravity and hung on. Big mistake I was beat up like a rag doll and pulled muscles I didnt even know I had.

Im pretty sure once i correct all of the details under my ski i will be in the low 80`s
i do still have the holes drilled in my pump shoe,,this should relieve a lil preasure.
were you sitting up on the seat when you all got ditched or were you all super man? I never super man, thats why i was asking is it ever vilent enough to throw you off if you sitting up rite on the seat?

At 84 I was in full superman flicking off Elli on MTrager's tripple pipe!! At 98 I was hanging on for dear life wondering what the fuck I was doing and what the hell they changed on the fuel/timing/ boost map

None the less the buck can put you in the hospital at 65.

I think im going to just stick to sitting on the seat, just going from the R&D 1200 grate to the SS 800 grate should give me 1-2 mph plus all the other crap i found hanging down under there.
