Why Does SeaDoo insist on screwing Canadians?

This stuff just pisses me off.

They charge us way more for the Seadoo and then give us a far smaller rebate or warranty. I just don't get it.

Yeah, I've already complained about this in a previous post... I don't think it's just Canadians that get shafted by this... it's every country in the world that sell's BRP products... the US just gets the best incenitives. I'm wondering if maybe they're getting a kickback from the government as part of some stimulous package...

Seems crazy, what is the benefit to BRP?
I guess they sell so many up there they don't have a need to provide the extra incentive in Canada?

What if you bought it in the States and took it over there...
lemme guess, probably would have no warranty...

Exactly. No warranty. Maybe they feel there is no competition for them in regards to PWC's for Canada. Maybe if we all bought Kawi's or whatever, maybe they'd sweeten the pot for us!

It's a rip off. Well as I understand it, EVERYTHING is more costly in Canada including cars, is that correct? And why is that, in the end is it not just a form of heavy taxation? I know the Brits pay about 6-7.00 for a gallon of gas, and 70 percent of that is taxes by their own government! Some of these guys in Australia pay a fortune for PWC. I know the new Chevy Camaros are made in Canada, what is your cost on one of those...

I doubt it. It's just because America is a cut throat type of place to do business.
