Lakes in Northern Illinois/ Southern Wi.

Hey everyone I am Stephen, I recently purchased a 08 GP1300R I am fairly new to the sport. I had owned a few pwc's about four years ago for about half a summer and had to sell them for financial obligations. Loved having them and riding and had to come back. When I had the last pwc's I had only ridden on Lake Marie and Lake Catherine on the chain. I live in Lake Villa, IL and am looking for info on other lakes besides the chain.

I decided to write this thread as I am new to the forums and thought I would get your opinions on some local lakes. Where else do you like to ride? Any helpful info. How are the launches (still getting the hang of the trailer), cost to launch, beaches or sandbars to take breaks or hang out. Only place I have been to since purchasing the GPR was Sunday after work I had gotten over to Loon Lake for a few hours as it is close and easy access. I plan to hit up Twin Lakes as well.

    Thanks

A couple of us were @ Loon last night for some testing on stuff.

Forget the little lakes we are headed to Lake Mi. this weekend. Send me a PM for details. The more the merrier.

Lake Elizabeth on Twin Lakes now has a way better ramp BTW.

My buddies and I are also looking for nice areas to ride in southern Wisconsin or northern Illinois. We hear the Fox River/Chain Lakes is amazing, but we can't find much information on where to trailer to the skis to. Any information would be great.

FYI, I put the ski in Lake Michigan quite a bit out of Bender Park. Very nice docks and boat launch and it has a beautiful park.
