I have a 96 seadoo gtx 2 stroke I recently installed rebuilt carbs everything went well until trying to install all the linkage. The linkage from the accelerator on the handlebars was no big deal. The problem I had was with the linkage cable that comes off the right carb and appears that it regulates oil, this cable came off the pully and the spring that brings the pully back has sprung. I am having a bear of a time trying to get this thing back on. Biggest problem is the thing is down on the side of the engine and I can't see it that well. Is there a way to remove the pully thing or is it possible just to bypass it and premix my own gas and oil. If so does anyone know what the ratio would be for a a 96 gtx 787 engine?
