    A Decent Anchor

What type of anchor works best for a PWC? I tried the sand bag type, the wind blows, and there goes my RXT. I tried the type of anchor that folds out little hooks and is supposed to snag a rock or mud, the wind blows, and there goes my ski. I give.

What on the bottom of your lake?

if a soft bottom a small Fluke anchors will work the best

I have this one and it hold my 150 in sand bottom but i also use a bigger one whenits windy or close to other boats, I put the big one off the front and the small one off the back.

make a mooring, and leave it at your favorite spot.
a couple cinderblocks, some chain, some rope and a buoy...
any anchor in your ski storage comparment is just going to beat around and break stuff.

I was in the same boat as you mark but now I got a ten pound mushroom anchor and my rxp never moves. My storage is always full so the anchor doesn't bang around.

This is what we use to anchor the front of the seadoo close to shore.

then we use this to stablize the back.

We have been pleased with the performance so far and we especially like the screw-in anchor system. It help that the carrybags are padded also.

When using a sand anchor I look around the beach or in the water where I want to anchor for a rock or 2 or 3 that will fit in the anchor bag with some sand. Should hold that RXT in place but a few rocks are needed. I don't recommend carrying rocks in your storage compartments though. Just a disclaimer.

Anyone carrying a conventional anchor in their skis is looking for some serious damage caused while riding.
