    06 RXT oil pressure problem

I have a friend with a 06 RXT that was sunk and a rebuilt engine was installed. Now the ski will run great all the way up to WOT but if you let off the throttle slow it gets an oil pressure warning. If you let off the throttle quick it does nothing. I checked and installed a new regulator and swapped the oil pressure sensor out with the one from my own ski. We even put thicker oil in. Any sugesstions? He's at his wits end and is asking me to just stop the warning by shorting the wire to ground.

Would be interesting to see what the oil pressure really is.

My 06 did same thing after motor replacement. Took the dealer 2 months to figure out. Supposed to be a valve seat sleeve on the oil pump being overtightened. hth
