    Compression Check (Poll)

Do you pull all spark plugs or do you leave the other two in? I have always pulled all plugs to get the engine to spin faster. Some say it effects compression. What do you think?

    David,
I have allways warmed up the engine then done compression checks with a warm engine. I also pull all spark plugs as you say. That seems to work well for me.

+1 but remember that you also need to open the throttle when you are doing the compression test to have a better reading.

as long as you do it the same way everytime you test it, hot/cold or plugs in/out doesn't matter. but you do need to hold the throttle wide open, or you will get low readings

I pull all the plugs just to make it easier on the starter/battery.

Oh yea.... Throttle wide open so the 4-tec will not try to start and more air flow.
