GP 1200R goes no more (lot o pics)

Well heres what ive got done so far.Got everything tore out the other day and got the jugs off, man the center was hard, peeled up metal on metal. When I got the engine out I found the oil pump was missing a screw, and is heavily corroded and doubt worked at all, found lil bit of oil in injection lines.Inside the stator cover is all corroded, gonna get it all clean best I can as well. Also will be going premix when done.Hope not too many pics for everyone. And the daughter was helping, dont know how but still there.

Thanks, and i was a little wow'd myself when i opened it up.The rust is from the pump not being seated so water has an easy path in to do its tricks.Case i slooking good, nice and smooth and not bits down below, no holes or leaks either.

Looks like you got some work to do there, just make sure you take you're time building it,be meticulous and clean.Dont put it together without pressure testing like i did by being to eager to get back on the water.good luck.
