    Polaris SL750 Premix

I am not to familiar with the Polaris skis, so be gentle with your responses pleas. My friends son has an SL750 and wants to go premix. Is there anything special to do other than a block off kit and the three rubber plugs? I'm trying to make sure it's not like a Seadoo that has to have the oil tank and lines connected. Thanks ahead of time.

Drain and remove the oil tank and associated lines. Remove oil pump and lever.

    Allen bolts are Metric.

You probably will have to move the fuel tank fwd alittle to get the oil tank out.

Wire in a 33 ohm resistor in the oil tank wires to fool the MFD and it will allways show full oil.

16 oz of oil to 5 gal gas

I did mine a few years back when the oil lines broke off and filled up the hull with an oily mess.

Lots of help on this board.. Use Search....

Remove the oil pump and internal parts for it.

Install the block off plate air tight.

Remove the oil lines and plug them from the intake or carbs.

You can then remove the oil tank if you want. But you will need to make another mounting point for the hood hold up spring.

Or keep the oil tank in.

Then you need to install a 33 ohm resistor in between the oil sender wires, or inside the elec box.

Another option is to tie the oil sender in the "full" position and leave it installed.

Installing the resistor or keeping the sender "full" will prevent the MFD light from blinking low oil.

Thanks, is the 33ohm resistor a Radio Shack item?
