Tuning (or avoiding disaster) by temperature.
I just got by SBT rebuild kawa 750 motor today, so I know what I am doing this weekend! I have become nearly petrified with fear over the "burned up my engine stories before I knew what was happening" that I wanted to float an idea. I am a temperature controls guy, with lots of cool temperature measurement gear, and I was wondering if slapping a temperature sensor on both jugs around the exhaust outlets (or somewhere) would be useful in monitoring or even tuning to the extent that lean conditions would likely manifest themselves in higher temperatures, and even two jugs operating at different temps would be an indicator. Just curious on anyone's thoughts, I am just getting in to two strokes for the first time.
