SC bolt replacement
Anyone know the exact bolt threads/sizes for the bolts to replace the 4 SC bolts.
I'm wanting to go to SS hex bolts to replace the torx bolts.
...still stuck on trying to remove the back bolt too

4 bolts? Is it not mounted with 3 bolts? I just got the racheting torx set from sears to get that top bolt. You will have to grind the wrench a little to get it to fit and not hit the boss. But the nice thing is ther are rachetting and makes getting the top bolt out easy. The other 2 bolts are easy to get out with a torx socket and rachet.
I suppose buying the bolts would be cheaper but would still be hard to get the top one out, you still would need a rachetting wrench or patience.

The back bolt I removed using a 1/4 ratchet that I sanded the head down until I got a little to the gears. Also I think using the torch did the trick to loosen that loctite.

Looks like they are (3) SS M6 - 1.0 pitch, 35mm for the SC to engine.(9) 25mm for the SC housing.
I called a local shop they said they had 35mm allen head. Would this work ?

An allen head for that top bolt would probably be a pain in the neck to tighten/loosen- but it would work...
