Heat Fade? & SKi coming unhooked..

Just a quick question to refresh my memory...Just put in Riva stage 1
RPMs at 7860(yes i know i have to get the "magic touch" done.)
But went out today 95 degree heat 86 degree water temp 52% humidity
Lost 300 RPM ,,7580 at best,, is this the dreaded heat fade????
    Hope so..

Also I cant seem to keep the ass end of the ski in the water
Ive played with the trim it helps a little but in small chop the pump unloads
dont want to tear up the SC.. yet..I have the Rive intake grate but i
also have the opas and stock sponsons on...I dont remember the ski doing this before i put the stage 1 in ...Thanks

    Thanks
    Scott

I just installed my stage one, minus the filter, haven't installed it yet, but my ski was turing 8000 rpms. sometimes it took a bit to get there would stick around 7840 for abit then climb, sometimes not.. I"m hoping with the riva filter in it will hold 8000+ if not I'll send my 14/19r to the hulkster for the touch. MY ski stays hooked pretty good in the chop, I have the pump wedge on mine. I ride with the trim down more though to keep it in the water now. I did notice it proporsed alot easier then before, but the way it rides now I love it. I dont get soaked cause the nose is up out of the water more now. I have the problock offs. water was choppy, so I haven't got to try it out in real flat water..

No way is heat fade going to drop your RPM's that low. There is some underlying issue that you need to uncover.

    Proper oil level?
    Condition of wear ring?
    Possible boost leak?
Intake grate pull out at the back?

Jerry when i road the first time to get some #s she was hitting 7860 weather was 85 degrees, water tep was 83 degrees and low humity.
I go out this weekend and its Alot hotter ,uppper 90,s water is 86 degrees
and 75% humity..Havent touched nothing on the ski from the first ride..
Prop and ring are brand new.14/19r oil level is inbetween the bends just changed that (before the 7860 RPM ride) checked evertying and cant find
nothing a miss.Dont know found it weird to drop 300 rpms in one week..
Im gonna pull the prop this weekend and send it to you along with my SC
Ill look over everthiny while im taking it apart.Oh im gonna ride it one more
time Sat to double check the Rpms again..

Intake grate is tight ill have to look at the connection on the SC
    Thanks
    Scott
