    Welcome

Click below for service manuals and other useful links.

One of your two SLTX 1050 runs just fine, and the other runs fine for a couple of minutes at a time - correct?

    What model year?

Click here for information related to the red domestic engine Polaris PWC.

What service or maintenance has been done to the problem machine?
Have the gray Tempo fuel lines been replaced?
Have the carbs been rebuilt recently?

Is there any possibility of water in the fuel tank?

When it dies, do you have to use the choke to get it to re-start?
Does it re-start immediately, or only after siting for a few minutes?

I have to choke it then it fires right up I have drained the gas tank and found no water guess I should start with the grey fuel lines and go from there ??

Thanks for the fuel line info I just changed all of them and still wont run right.

    Could it be electrical problem?

I heard the cdi box could be a problem the part number of mine is 4010447...

    In addition to the service manual diagnostics, there is this;
How do I test old and new domestic red engine CDI, Magneto and Ignition coils?

Since you have two identical machines, you can swap parts to test. The CDI is easy enough to swap, just keep track of what you unplug and move around

If you still have those gray Tempo fuel lines, then they are a prime suspect for causing carburetor clogging.

You would be smart to replace the Tempo fuel lines on both machines, and rebuild the carbs on at least the problem machine, or even better on both engines.

It is possible that there is more than one problem with the machine, so even if swapping the CDI seems to correct things, it is still a good idea to clean those carbs.

A 2-stroke PWC engine with a partially clogged carb (or any other part of the fuel system) can seem to be running well, and present no symptoms, or very mild symptoms, right up until the piston fails from a lean fuel condition.
