installed the kanaflex ,bought in greenhulk store with pics

Last week i installed the jfizzlejr kanaflex kit ,which is sold in Jerry's store.

Most people mount the spectre filter directly behind the air inlet, and remove the front venthose completely.

I am bit worried about water entering the kanaflex,so i choose for a safer option.

My filter is mounted with a homemade bracket on one of the bolts of the steering mechanism.

These are long enough so no problem mounting the bracket.

It 's more forward then other setups, but you can get fresh air in by cutting the venthose to the proper length, this way it's directly besides the spectre filter.

I tested the filter in big waves, and did some agressive riding, just for testing if the filter would stay dry.

Only thing you have is a bit of condensation ,but thats normal and don't hurts performance!

It s an rxt-x which the kanaflex is mounted on.

The bracket is just a regular aluminium bracket used for drainage or roof gutters.

Rebend it a little, put a hoseclamp on it and attach it to the steeringbolt.

The hoseclamp is used to mount the filter on the bracket.

Very cheap and esy to do it yourself.
