X- Supercharger wheel.. what is needed to upgrade?

Looking at possibly upgrading the S/C wheel this winter.

What wheels can I use without upgrading anything else?

I was looking at the A-kit on seadoo centre. I think I've seen others running that on mostly stock boats.

Also, since I am in no way going back to a 4 blade prop I was looking at upgrading the ECU with a SD centre re-flash. Is that just a RPM limiter bump or is it remap of fuel / timing and if so is the remap cookie cutter or custom for each flash?

seadoo centre does a raised limiter of 8400rpm on a remap and a 3 blade pitched for it.
or you can also get an upgrade wheel to go with stock map or with the 8400 map.
or riva charger and 50s on stock map.
there is many options but the seadoo centre is more cc race set-up as oposed to top-end.

Can I just throw the A-kit in my X charger and be done? No re- map, just a prop tweak?

I only want hole shot and mid... not a huge fan (so far) of the 4 blade. The 3 blade just hooks so much better and I'll gladly ditch the top end for the hook up as most of the time i'm not riding smooth enough water to be in the upper 70's anyways...

im not familiar with that wheel so not 100% sure but ad recon you need a remap or injectors for safe afr.
id rather the 8400remap and 3 blade if its hole-shot and midrange you want..

I got the A kit in my P-X from seadoo centre. no remap was needed. still running stock ecu. although i haven't got an afr meter in to tell you what afr's are now. However the boys at seadoo centre tell me the A kit is fine on stock map. So far no dramas since putting it in but I have to say the ski is awesome with it in. I put the 4" intake on it at the same time as the s/c upgrade so my difference in performance was quite a noticable jump.

Gosh I start looking and there are a lot of wheels to choose from. Which ones can you just throw in without changing injectors and having to worry about the AFR?

The SD Centre wheel says 12 lbs of boost, but I am already seeing that in cooler weather @8100 RPMS.

    There's the
R/D monster wheels-- not available yet
Riva wheel <-- I've heard that this wheel can run on the stock ECU w/ 50's but that it just doesn't do justice
    SD Center Wheel
    Racetech Weel
    ????

I'll keep searching but if some more people could chime in with some suggestions of what would work good for what I'm looking for and looking to avoid that would cool.

More acceleration, 3 more MPH ?? and no new injectors or fuel tuning. Possible?

Thanks for posting this thread, I am also looking for the best possible upgrade for my X-charger

    About the SD-centre wheel,
    - How much does it cost?
    - If it really adds 1 psi over stock, 12 psi at 8.100, how much will it make with a SD-centre reflash, and how much with a Riva ECU?

b-kit is roughly 2k. B-kit is more boost then the a-kit.

B-kit can be run, according to les cooke, at 8400 on his remapped ECU

I was talking about the Les Cooke drop-in wheel for X-charger,
not the B-kit complete SC assembly

Do you know how much it costs?
and how much boost it should make with the Sea-doo centre reflash,
and how much it could make with the Riva ECU?
