Rxt Problem, Am I The Only One?
My RXT has been giving me the error code, "OIL", followed by "P1520". Took it to the dealer and they said that the oil pressure switch was bad, and replaced it. I then had 4 hours of great riding, and then yesterday it said it again. Then today, it said it again, so I trailered it and am going to take it into the dealer on Tuesday. The unit just bogs out, and beeps and me while giving me the error code, but I kept riding knowing that it was no danger to my vehicle. Has anyone else had this problem?

mine was doing this, we hooked it up to the buds and that is a low oil warning, just add about 1/4 quart of oil...mine always did that when i was turning sharp..added oil..went away..

Happened to me Saturday. I didn't hit the set 5 times so I didn't know if there was a error code, but it did beep and say OIL, and I was either hitting waves hard or turn or somthing. I didn't have a chance to check the oil level.

Could be another oil pressure switch. I think there is 2 of them. The other one could go have gone bad.

The other one is under the air manifold, right in front of the oil filter on the engine block just before where the dipstick goes into the block

Although the sensors are junk (I'm on my third set) it is real important to make sure the oil level is exact, neither too low or too high as either can set off a warning.
One word of advice I got from here; replace them in sets instead of one at a time. $25 apiece roughly.

I watch real close when ever it beeps and try and write the code fast
I dono the button to recall the code
good advice, better is where to order me a set of sensors and a list of common senors to fail so i can keep a few around for spares
the shops are allways closed when you want to ride and your ride is broke
poor ski is only a year and a half old with 140 hhrs
think im proble due to replace some stuff besides stuff i have to replace for being lazy and not correcting my oil level.
