I sent him a message, asking him what he meant by "gunned", and what blue book he was using.

He told me they were radar gunned.... I've asked him if they have any performance mods.

They may havebeen radar'ed going that fast on a trailer behind his truck!! No way in hell will they do that, a know some guys with pretty heavily modded Ultra's that only run 70-71!

I emailed him back, asked him what kind of mods were done with the skis....this is what I get....
"The Yamaha is stock... I got the speed rating when a 105 lbs girl was riding it.. and that is at about 1100 ft elevation. The kawasaki has a stainless steel impeller and it to was rater ther same way. "

I emailed him back again (just wanting to bust this guys chops) and told him no how, no way did he get anywhere NEAR those numbers, 105 lb girl or not. I said I should turn him in for fraudulent claims on a listing.... now he has added this to his listing:
"I have had many questions about the speed of both skis... I know for a fact that they are fast and that when I got the speeds listed a 105 pound girl was riding and they were ridden at an elevation of about 1100 ft. With those things involved those are the speeds I came up with... They are both fast and would put them up against most other skis. GOOD LUCK!!! "
Thats like saying "I've got a 2001 Mustang GT, all stock, new rubber, it's been clocked at 189 MPH with the spare tire removed". I wouldn't be busting his chops so much if he hadn't claimed those were radar readings.

Maybe his radar is jacked up?
Maybe the 105 lb girl had bug ear rings that were vibrating at 80+ mph and THAT'S wha the radar picked up?
