    Walbro fuel pump

I've lost 2 walbro fuel pumps in no time at all.I'm running 62 psi and my own RRFPR.With my boost I should be 77 psi fuel pressure at full boost. The pump start to pulse at full throttle and the boat falls on it's face then comes back as soon as the pressure drops back.Has anyone else had problems and is there a better why to go?Thanks Mitch

Nope mine has the big W and are made in the USA.I put the stock one back in today and it was fine.I'm going to see if I can find something else to put in its place.I'm going more boost and need to fix this problem before I go racing.

Mitch, Not saying this is your problem but i have heard of a few skis running the Walbro pump and had a similiar issue. They had an issue with voltage..At high RPMs the pump was drawing to much and shut down..They had to add some kind of relay to the system. After that it has work flawlessly..

I tried the relay but the system would not shut down with the relay. It kept pulsing the damn pump with the lanyard off.I did it on the hot side of the pump staight to the battery and use the pump wire to activate the pump relay.
