Seadoo oil color
I know this has been discussed before, and I searched and couldn't find it. I just picked up a 1994 Seadoo GTX and I was about to fill it with BRP Mineral Oil. The oil on the dipstick shows a greenish tinge. The Mineral oil is almost clear. I haven't had a machine that runs mineral oil since 1996. Any help would be appreciated. Do I fill it up with the Mineral oil or the Amsoil that I use in my XP?

i would drain the oil thats in the tank and fill it with fresh oil...who knows how old or contaminated that oil that's in the tank is.

I dont think any seadoo oil is green. The only one green i have seen is the one you can buy at Walmart or similar locations.
Safe bet is to drain. Most oils will mix from what i understand so...your choice i suppose.
